Ok, I did not know they were making a movie all about Russell Brand's loveable douche, Aldous Snow, but apparantly, "Get Him To The Greek" is really happening, sans Jason Segel. My first reaction was bleach! Forgetting Sarah Marshall was one of the funniest, sweetest movies of the last couple of years and deserved better treatment.
However, this news has suddenly opened my wallet to an opening night ticket:
Jarvis Cocker has penned three songs tipped to be included in the upcoming film "Get Him to the Greek," a spinoff of the hit 2008 comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
The former Pulp frontman is writing material to be performed by Russell Brand's character Aldous Snow, a hapless rock star who is about to open a huge tour at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre. Cocker tells Billboard.com that what he's written so far is "rather silly, but it's a silly film."
